Don Spencer, Singer/songwriter, presenter and founder of the Australian Children’s Music Foundation

If The Wiggles are The Beatles of kids music, then Don Spencer is Johnny Cash. A pioneer, activist, community leader, multi talented artist and extremely generous supporter of the next generation(s) of music makers and participants, Don’s work spans over half a century and continues on and on.

The founder of the Australian Children’s Music Foundation, Don’s is the voice, and face, of many soundtracks for generations with his own releases, as well as huge stints on Play School both here and in the UK. In addition to music for families, Don has also written extensively for screen, including a gig for 1960s TV that saw him tour with the Rolling Stones.

Never idle, since our chat Don has also put together a special Christmas concert to bring some light to 2020. We are very thrilled to have him on – absolute national treasure, Order of Australia recipient, Don Spencer, welcome!“
