Josh Kelly is a Melbourne-based saxophonist and composer with a diverse musical practice that is rooted in jazz and also draws on a range of influences and styles. He’s a busy, busy person: composer-bandleader for his own bands JK Group and Josh Kelly Trio, and—for the latter— the proud owner of EP “Rising”, which launched at The Melbourne International Jazz Festival in October 2022. All this while he’s also also wrangling a lovely 3 year old toddler with wife and legend in her own right Maggie May!
